Warranty
Texas Pit Crafters manufactures products that are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty does not apply to products, which have been abused or misused or due to negligence, accidents, repairs or alterations outside our facility or due to lack of maintenance. This warranty also does not apply if the product is not installed or operated in accordance with instructions provided by Texas Pit Crafters. We shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property damage arising from the use of our products purchased new from Texas Pit Crafters or its authorized distributors or from other sources.
Texas Pit Crafters will at its option refinish or replace any product or part found to be defective during the warranty period. The warranty covers parts only; labor and freight are not included. Texas Pit Crafters may require you to return the part(s) claimed to be defective, for its inspection, freight or postage prepaid. Texas Pit Crafters may require reasonable proof of purchase and we suggest you keep your receipt/invoice.
Warranty – BBQ Pits/Smokers
- All stainless steel parts lifetime warranty for original purchaser.
- Assumes firebox has been maintained and painted.
- Steel firebox lifetime burn-out warranty for original purchaser.
- Steel body surfaces five (5) years from date of purchase.
- All other parts for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.
- Paint is not warranted.
Warranty – Gas Grills
- All stainless steel grill parts lifetime warranty for original purchaser.
- Original burners are warranted for three (3) years for residential user.
- Replacement and amount of replacement is determined soley by Texas Pit Crafters.
- Normal wear and tear from usage of the grill is not included.
- All other parts for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
Warranty – Products Manufactured By Others and Backyard Projects
- Products sold by Texas Pit Crafters but manufactured by others will be warranted by that manufacturer.
- Texas Pit Crafters assumes no liabiity or responsibility for product(s) manufactured by others.
- These products include refrigerators, ice-makers, and faucets.
- Patios, patio covers and pergolas 1 year warranty
- No warranty on stain or paint
- No warranty on polycarbonate overlays on pergolas
- Firepits and fireplaces 1 year warranty
Warranty – Outdoor Kitchens
- Texas Pit Crafters warrants the materials and construction of outdoor kitchens to be free of defects.
- The structural frame is warranted for lifetime for the original purchaser.
- The sidewall surface materials are warranted for 1 year for the original purchaser.
- Labor is warranted for 1 year for the original purchaser.
- Granite and other slab materials are warranted solely by the granite slab supplier and the granite fabricator/installer and in no case does Texas Pit Crafters warrant granite or other slab materials.
